• Have a visible and verbal relationship with Jesus
• Have a consistent devotional and prayer life

• Attend the weekly team meetings and monthly Leadership meeting
• Participate in weekly discipleship group.
• Lead discipleship group if necessary.
• Actively help your team reach their people group (Outreach Teams)
• Strive to maintain sexual purity.
The Bible is clear in teaching that sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, addiction to pornography, or similar practices are not biblical practices of sexuality. We also recognize that this is a difficult battle and seek people who acknowledge the truths above, actively repent, and desire to align themselves with scripture.
• Strive to live sacrificially
We also realize that everyone is at different places in their spiritual journey. As a leader who represents God and the BCM, it is very important to us that we give a good testimony of the grace of God in our lives. While we realize that no one is perfect, we know that other people will often see our actions differently, so our heartfelt desire is that we not become a stumbling block to others in everything we do. 1 Corinthians 10:32-33 says, “Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not speaking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.” This principle is the guide. The call to make disciples and see people put their faith in Jesus should always supersede any desire to protect perceived freedoms.
REQUIRED MEETINGS
1.. Attend the leadership retreat January 10 & 11 2025.
2. Must attend a leadership retreat the week before school in August 2025. Dates TBD.
3. Weekly discipleship meeting with BCM staff member or BCM Leader.
3. Weekly team meeting time TBD.
5. Strongly encouraged to attend Momentum in September 2025.
6. Strongly encouraged to attend Spring Retreat in April 4 & 6 2025.
7. Strongly encouraged to go to Collegiate Week at Falls Creek in August 2025.
